“Education is the most powerful weapon which can change the World” − Nelson Mandela
This quote has always inspired me and I feel honoured to be a part of successful journey of St. Francis World School Meerut. SFWS delivers enriched curriculum to enhance each child’s learning. The philosophy of SFWS represents a progressive education style, focused on intellectually stimulating inquiry, collaborative and research-based learning for our students. Our academic and extracurricular achievements over the past years have been exemplary and that is the true reflection of our Vision and Mission statement i.e ‘Learning for life’.
We value collaborative learning, positive relationships and building capacity amongst our students to effectively allow them to engage in the world of the future, where problem solving, evaluating, working in teams, communicating, creating and innovating are not only valued concepts, but expected skills and capabilities.
We support the individual wellbeing of our students and provide a school environment that allows every student to thrive as they work towards achieving their personal best performance. We set high expectations for our students and work hard to safeguard positive emotions across our school community. We are partners in learning with our students and seek to deepen their knowledge, provide enriching and innovative learning experiences, while also gently urging our students out of their comfort zone to attempt new challenges.
We value relationships and connections with the community. We encourage our students to develop respectful relationships with their peers, teachers and the community. We instill in our students a keen social conscience and the capacity to make ethical decisions. We work hard to develop and sustain productive partnerships and connections with our parents, local schools and institutions. We are proud to be a high performing school and aim to be the selective school of first choice for all families within our community.
I feel proud to jot down a few lines for School’s website and highlight the unique qualities of SFWS. I am sure that we are preparing the future leaders and role models of society true to our motto ‘Learning for Life’.
